Catholic Schools Week
As a child, Catholic School’s Week was always the favored week during the school year. I loved the themes, games, and service. Even the Mass had more energy than others. There were always happy faces, more patience, and fun educational activities. The whole week felt like a vacation from the rigor of traditional weeks. As an educator, Catholic School’s Week celebrates the freedom to choose your education and the ability to profess your faith safely in a school atmosphere. Catholic School’s Week reminds me of how blessed I am to be able to teach in a Catholic School where I can profess my faith and form the students under my responsibility. The mission of salvation intensifies this week and brings joy to my vocation. May God bless all those who attend and all those who sacrifice for Catholic education.
